TransVagrant and Warschaw Gallery present Warschaw / Winter, a group exhibition of works by Craig Antrim, Merwin Belin. Arnée Carofano, Katy Crowe, Nate Jones, Hyung Mo Lee, Ron Linden, William Mahan, Jay McCafferty, Elizabeth Medina, Heidi Pollard, Yong Sin, Gary Szymanski, Marie Thibeault, Ted Twine, and HK Zamani.

Winter is a tightly disconnected group sampling culled from a curious case study of area artists. Critics speak of hyper-abstractionism, stylistic emphasis, formalistic mysticism, mathematical certainty, philosophical tension, exceptional eurhythmy, and hypothetico-deductive lyricism, although a few also mention mystification and bluff. Other than sharing a complete lack of use value, many of these fetishistic works prove immensely annoying for their uniqueness, while others may appear entertaining. Organized by TransVagrant, this exhibition, perhaps for no other reason, is not to be missed.

Winter runs through January 16, 2015. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 Am – 6 PM, and by appointment. For visuals or additional information, please call 310-600-4873.
