Ninth and Grand – painted by Zahra Bejaune
Her design is titled ‘Crane Transforming’. It is inspired by the metal cranes in the port and the birds who fly through the skies of San Pedro. When Zahra looks at the beautiful views of the harbor and sees the birds, she often imagines the metal cranes are yearning to transform from their repetitious existence into Japanese ‘floating world’ style cranes and fly away.
