This is a free service for our community – we miss you and look forward to seeing each other on-line. The July 1st First Thursday Armchair ArtWalk in honor of the July 4th holiday, we will be celebrating the independent spirit of our local artists and their drive to create art. Featured this month will be conversations with Eric Johnson, Karena Massengill, Ben Jackel, and Chad Bishop.

After a long period of dormancy, we seem to have sighted ‘normal’ in our headlights. So, let’s get ready to welcome visitors and spruce up the town. What if we can support the arts in San Pedro by awarding qualified artists to paint more DOT Boxes, Storm Drains and Murals? Harkening back to our roots, what if we can support gallery shows and live performances with promotional assistance for one year?

The results of this Stakeholder Working Group will help us submit a consensus-driven proposal to the PBID and other appropriate, supportive entities for funding and event support consideration.

In a new pilot program, the San Pedro Waterfront Arts District, in collaboration with the Port of LA and the City of LA Council District 15, request proposals from artists to design and paint two storm drains in San Pedro.

The San Pedro Waterfront Arts District, in collaboration with the artists who have touched San Pedro with their artistry, announces the next Armchair ArtWalk Tour to be held on Zoom.

The partners of the San Pedro Arts & Cultural District invite the area artists, arts organizations, galleries and supporting businesses to join us for a January 26, 2021 3:00-5:00pm Stakeholder Meeting to discuss our recent activities and to gather feedback about the eventual return of the FirstThursday ArtWalk.
