Pacific and Sixth – painted by Miriam Jackson
Miriam has titled her piece, “Cosmic Intersection”. The landscape paired with the abstracts are the intersection of the tangible and intangible. The actual landscape superimposed against the painted landscape is the intersection of perception and reality. Most art is removed from its place of creation and this installation challenges the viewer to first realize the painting depicts the landscape surrounding the utility box and to consider the beauty around us on a daily basis.
