Coco at the Warner Grand Theatre
The Arts District will host a very special presentation of the animated film Coco at the Warner Grand Theatre, 478 West 6th Street on Sunday, October 28th at 1:30pm to kick off downtown San Pedro’s Día de los Muertos Festival produced by the San Pedro Business Improvement District.
Coco is a computer-animated fantasy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, the story follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family among the living. The film won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (“Remember Me“).
