Welcome to MS, the Menduiña Schneider Art Gallery, the latest addition to 7th Street in the Arts District. The gallery was born out of the mutual passion for the arts that both owners share.
Alejandra Schneider, an accomplished Artist, Curator and Teacher, and her husband Jorge Schneider, a writer and artist too, first came up with the idea for a gallery when they realized that they both shared an equally love for the Arts. Both are avid Art Collectors, specializing in Latin American Art and they have travelled extensively around the globe building strong relationships with some of the most impressive new talent that has emerged from Latin America in recent years.
The first exhibit at the gallery is “Winds of Change” featuring for Argentinian artists Mariana Diaz, Graciela Izaguirre, Araceli Laviano, and Patricio Perez Pradella. Opening reception is April 7th, during the First Thursday Artwalk. The show closes April 15.
They have an Open Gallery group show planned for Saturday April 16th, and “The Four Elements” opens April 25. More information at http://amenduinaschneider.wix.com/msartgallery.
