Call for Qualification - Artist Designed Crosswalk

The San Pedro Waterfront Arts District, with funding from the Port of Los Angeles Community Grant Program, is seeking artists to design a 650-square-foot crosswalk in front of the Maritime Museum at 6th and Harbor. The design should reflect San Pedro’s maritime history, marine biodiversity, and artistic culture, using a limited color palette.

Artists must submit qualifications, past work samples, and a concept sketch. Three finalists will receive $250 each for detailed renderings, and the selected artist will be awarded $1,500. The deadline for submissions is April 7, 2025, with installation set for June 30, 2025.
